If you would have told me a year ago that we would be standing in a room full of people celebrating the launch of Living In Parish Magazine, I honestly do not know if I would have believed you. Watching this dream go from conversations at the kitchen table to a packed launch party surrounded by friends, family, business owners, community leaders, and supporters was something I will never fully be able to put into words.

To every single person who attended our launch party, advertised with us, donated, supported us online, shared a post, picked up a magazine, or simply believed in what Lizzie and I were trying to build, thank you. You helped make a dream become real right here in Livingston Parish, and that is something I will carry with me forever.

The night itself felt magical. Seeing people flip through the magazine for the first time, hearing conversations throughout the room, watching everyone connect and celebrate together, it reminded me exactly why we started this in the first place. Community matters. Local stories matter. People matter.

And yes, before anyone asks, I am still working on thank you notes.

They are slightly delayed because my lovely daughter, Elizabeth, somehow managed to lose the guest book after the launch party. Which honestly feels very on brand for us at this point. Somewhere in Livingston Parish there is probably a beautifully decorated guest book filled with names, sweet messages, and my current stress level.

So if you attended, please know your thank you is coming, even if Lizzie has accidentally turned it into a parishwide scavenger hunt.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making this experience so special for our family. We are incredibly grateful, incredibly humbled, and unbelievably excited for what comes next.— Ash
