Beauty With Purpose

In every community, there are stories that quietly shape its strength stories of resilience, service, and unwavering commitment. Living in this parish has given me the privilege of both witnessing and contributing to that strength.

As a military wife, educator, and mother, service has been the foundation of my life. It extends far beyond duty; it is reflected in the everyday moments supporting a spouse through deployment, guiding students toward their potential, and raising children with resilience and compassion. These experiences have deepened my understanding of what it truly means to lead: not by title, but through impact.

This parish has shown me the power of community. It is found in the neighbors who step forward without hesitation, the educators who invest in the next generation, and the shared belief that no one should face challenges alone.

Through my work with the Louisiana National Guard Youth Challenge program as an instructor, I have seen the critical need for mentorship, structure, and encouragement. Equally important is the need to prioritize mental health particularly for military families and young people navigating today’s challenges. Creating spaces where individuals feel supported, heard, and empowered is not optional; it is essential.

I am proud to be part of a parish that values service and connection. It is through these shared values that we continue to grow stronger together.
